The Stoughton Fire Department is looking for energetic individuals to fill entry level volunteer positions. Applicants must live within fifteen miles of the area served by the Stoughton Fire Department, have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and be willing to submit to a physical exam. The City of Stoughton is an equal opportunity employer.

Position Objectives:
There is a lot that goes on at the Stoughton Area Senior Center. We are looking for volunteers to serve as our receptionist, deliver meals on wheels, prepare food at our nutrition site and help with anything you are able to do.

Position Objectives:
Volunteering for the food pantry is a very rewarding experience. Volunteers answer the phone, schedule appointments, help clients register and get their food, stock shelves, monitor freezer/refrigerator temperatures, receive donations, clean, and monitor inventory. Volunteers also assist with the various food drives. You can sign up for regular shifts or fill in when needed.

Volunteer at the Library If you'd like to volunteer at the library, please fill out an application and turn it in at one of our service desks.
We evaluate potential adult volunteers on an ongoing, as-needed basis.
Teens looking for a summer volunteer opportunity, please stop by the Children's Department on or before April 15 of the year you wish to volunteer.
Teen volunteers must be in grades 7-12 (or entering 7th grade in the upcoming fall).
